Supervisor DeSena offered the following resolution and moved its adoption, which resolution was declared adopted after a poll of the members of this Board:

RESOLUTION NO. 253 - 2024

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE APPOINTMENT OF SHARON KUO AND DINA DIGIORGIO, ESQ. TO THE TOWN OF NORTH HEMPSTEAD HISTORIC LANDMARKS PRESERVATION COMMITTEE.

WHEREAS, two vacancies exists on the Town of North Hempstead Historic Landmarks Preservation Commission (the “Commission”); and

WHEREAS, the Town Board is empowered pursuant to Chapter 27 of the Town Code to make appointments to the Commission; and

WHEREAS, the Town Board wishes make appointments to the Commission to fill the vacancies for unexpired terms as follows:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT 

RESOLVED that the persons listed above are appointed as members of the Commission for the terms specified above; and be it further

RESOLVED that the terms and appointments of all remaining members of the Committees not specified above continue in full force and effect.
