Supervisor DeSena offered the following resolution and moved its adoption, which resolution was declared adopted after a poll of the members of this Board:

RESOLUTION NO. 254 - 2024

A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 212–2024, ADOPTED APRIL 2, 2024, DESIGNATING JOSEPH SCALERO AS THE TOWN OF NORTH HEMPSTEAD VOTING MEMBER OF THE ROSLYN FIRE COMPANIES JOINT MUNICIPAL SPONSORING BOARD.

WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution No. 212-2024, duly adopted on April 2, 2024 (the “Resolution”), the Town Board designated Deputy Supervisor Joseph Scalero as the Town of North Hempstead voting member of the joint municipal sponsoring board for the Roslyn Rescue H&L and Roslyn Highlands H&L, E&H Co., Inc. fire companies (the “LOSAP Board”); and

WHEREAS, Councilman Scott has requested that the Resolution be amended to designate Salvatore Farieri in place of Joseph Scalero as the Town’s voting member (the “Amendment”); and

WHEREAS, this Board finds it to be in the best interest of the Town to authorize the Amendment.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT

RESOLVED that the Resolution be and hereby is amended to reflect the Amendment.
