Supervisor DeSena offered the following resolution and moved its adoption, which resolution was declared adopted after a poll of the members of this Board:

RESOLUTION NO. 156 - 2024

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CERTAIN OUTINGS AT HARBOR LINKS GOLF COURSE IN PORT WASHINGTON.

WHEREAS, the Town of North Hempstead Harbor Links Golf Course (the “Golf Course”) is operated by Century Golf Partners Management, LP D/B/A Arnold Palmer Golf Management (“Century Golf”) pursuant to an agreement between the Town of North Hempstead (the “Town”) and Century Golf (the “Agreement”); and

WHEREAS, the Agreement states that the exclusive use of either the 18-hole or 9-hole courses at the Golf Course for paid private golf outings (“Outings”) may only occur on Mondays without the approval of the Town Board; and

WHEREAS, staff of Century Golf at the Golf Couse has requested that the Town Board approve outings on dates and times other than Mondays as follows:

            18 Hole                  Tuesday 10/15/2024                 12:00 PM

(the “Additional Outings”); and

WHEREAS, the Town Board finds it in the best interests of the Town to approve the Additional Outings.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT

RESOLVED, that the Additional Outings be and hereby are approved; and be it further

RESOLVED, that the courses noted above shall be open for public use at such times of the day that the Additional Outings are not taking place.
