Supervisor DeSena offered the following resolution and moved its adoption, which resolution was declared adopted after a poll of the members of this Board:

RESOLUTION NO. 150 - 2024

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A TRANSFER OF FUNDS FROM A CAPITAL PROJECT FUND TO THE MANHASSET BAY PARK DISTRICT FUND.

WHEREAS, the Town of North Hempstead has completed a playground project at Merriman Park within the Manhasset Bay Park District under budget; and

WHEREAS, the capital fund used for the project has a resulting balance in the amount of $3,740.15 (the “Surplus”) from the funds transferred into it for this project from Manhasset Bay Park District’s fund balance; and

WHEREAS the Surplus is now available to replenish the Manhasset Bay Park District’s fund balance; and

WHEREAS, pursuant to Town Law §§ 112 and 113, the Board desires to transfer   $3,740.15 from capital fund HC1201 to the Manhasset Bay Park District's fund balance (SP155.0909) (the “Transfer”); and

WHEREAS, after careful consideration, the Board finds it in the best interests of the Town to complete the Transfer.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT

RESOLVED that the Board hereby authorizes the Transfer as outlined above; and be it further

RESOLVED that the Offices of the Town Attorney and Comptroller are hereby directed to take such action as may be necessary to effectuate the foregoing.
