WHEREAS, Target Corporation has generously offered, as a gift, food and beverages for the Martin Luther King Day of Service Care and Black History Month Celebrations at the “Yes We Can” Community Center; and
WHEREAS, MTO Global through Zahra Aghataher, has generously offered, as a gift, 70 gift bags containing coloring books, pencils, and crayons for the International Day of Education at the “Yes We Can” Community Center; and
WHEREAS, Chick-Fil-A has generously offered, as a gift, 80 sandwiches for the Black History Month Celebration at the “Yes We Can” Community Center; and
WHEREAS, Diana Feffer, Peter Feffer and Anita Poon have generously offered, as a gift, $2,500 for the purchase of a memorial bench to be placed at Ridders Pond Park; and
WHEREAS, this Board wishes to accept the Gifts described in this Resolution (the “Gifts”) in accordance with Town Law Section 64.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED that this Board hereby gratefully accepts the Gifts.
