Supervisor DeSena offered the following resolution and moved its adoption, which resolution was declared adopted after a poll of the members of this Board:

RESOLUTION NO. 144 - 2024

A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 20-2024 AND APPOINTING CHRISTOPHER RUSSO AS DEPUTY REGISTRAR OF VITAL STATISTICS OF THE TOWN OF NORTH HEMPSTEAD.

WHEREAS, Public Health Law §4122 authorizes the Town Clerk to appoint a deputy registrar and sub-registrars to issue burial permits during nighttime hours within the Town; and

WHEREAS, the Town Clerk has advised that he wishes to replace Margaret M Malito as deputy registrar with Christopher Russo; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT

RESOLVED that the Town Clerk/Registrar of Vital Statistics is hereby authorized to replace Margaret M Malito as deputy registrar with Christopher Russo and to pay him an annual compensation of $3,000.00, pursuant to the provisions of the Public Health Law.
