Supervisor Bosworth offered the following resolution and moved its adoption, which resolution was declared adopted after a poll of the members of this Board:

RESOLUTION NO. 199 - 2018

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AWARD IN CONNECTION WITH A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR FEDERAL AND STATE GRANT ADVOCACY SERVICES (TNH098-2018).

        WHEREAS, the Town requires federal and state grant advocacy services (the “Services”); and

 

        WHEREAS, following a review of responses received pursuant to a Request for Proposals for the Services, the Director of Purchasing has recommended that the Town enter into an agreement with Sustainable Strategies DC, 500 New Jersey Avenue, NW, Suite 600, Washington, DC 20001 to provide the Services for a term beginning on April 18, 2018 and ending on December 31, 2021 in consideration of a sum not to exceed Seven Thousand Five Hundred and 00/100 Dollars ($7,500.00) per month and a sum not to exceed Two Hundred Fifty and 00/100 Dollars ($250.00) per month for reimbursable expenses (the “Agreement”); and

 

        WHEREAS, this Board finds it to be in the best interests of the Town to authorize the Agreement.

 

        NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT

 

        RESOLVED that the Agreement be and is hereby authorized; and be it further

 

        RESOLVED that the Supervisor be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute the Agreement on behalf of the Town, which Agreement shall be on file with the Office of the Town Clerk, and to take such other action as may be necessary to effectuate the foregoing; and be it further

 

        RESOLVED that the Office of the Town Attorney be and hereby is authorized and directed to negotiate and oversee the execution of the Agreement, and to take such other action as may be necessary to effectuate the foregoing; and be it further

 

        RESOLVED that the Comptroller be and hereby is authorized and directed to pay the costs of the Services upon receipt of the duly executed Agreement and certified claims therefore.
